Rohit Sharma Praise Ruturaj Gaikwad: When the Indian team was announced for the West Indies tour, Rituraj Gaikwad’s name was also among the two new batsmen included in it. Gaikwad, who made his debut in the limited overs format for Team India, has been made a part of the Test team for the first time. Apart from consistently performing well in the IPL, Gaikwad has impressed everyone with his game in domestic cricket as well. Now captain Rohit Sharma has also praised his talent.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma praised Rituraj Gaikwad before the start of the Test series against the West Indies, saying that he has the talent to succeed in red ball cricket as well. Gaikwad has so far shown what level of player he is in T20 cricket. Now it is his time and I hope he will be seen scoring a lot of runs for Team India in the times to come.

Runs scored at an average of 42 in domestic cricket so far

Rituraj Gaikwad’s average in first class cricket has been much better so far. This 26-year-old right-handed player has played 28 matches so far in domestic cricket from the Maharashtra team. In this, Gaikwad has scored 1941 runs in 47 innings at an average of 42.19, which includes 6 centuries and 9 half-century innings. Gaikwad’s highest personal score in first class cricket is 195 runs.

Rituraj Gaikwad has played 1 ODI and 9 T20 matches for Team India so far. Where he could manage to score only 19 runs in ODIs, he has so far scored 135 runs in T20 at an average of 16.87. Gaikwad definitely has a half-century in T20 in his name.
